    Fabulous video CK! The bat is adorable, I particularly love the bubbly neck ruffle. Just a note, 34:42 in your audio says put a decrease in, instead of a double crochet. But it’s fine on the text, and you clarified after the row :).

    I am so grateful for what you do… I've been looking for ages for a good bat pattern that's not a generic one and your pattern was what I've been looking for! He's so adorable and I will definitely make more than one for halloween!

    I was thinking "omg this is such a cute bat! But I hate when you have to crochet less than 6 stitches in a round" (I can't do 3 or 4 stitches, try as I might) Then I sat through the video and watched the toes being made…I am so impressed and not I want to make a bunch of tiny bat toes!

    So flippin' adorable! And speaking of flipping, that's what I want to do to it. Maybe I'll make one but put the footsies closer together, and then poke a chopstick through those highly convenient loops. Ta-dah, sleeping bat! ^_____^

    This is so cute!
    Also the wings look like a place I'd employ my "stocking stitch" method of crochet, where I designate a "right" side of the work and then always work my rows with the yarn on the "wrong" side. This makes every other row incredibly awkward in feel, since I'm sticking the hook under the stitch from the back and looping the yarn over it on the front, but it's worth it in my opinion if I have to do short rows on my amigurumi and I want the stitches to look consistent (barely any difference between the two, just a very tiny slant that signals which direction I was traveling in the row).

    I have a feeling you've just changed my future amigurumi life! I had no idea an invisible increase was a thing, and I'm always irritated with how bulky that first round is, especially in projects where I need it a bit flatter or smoother. Thank you for this! Can't wait to use it in a project!

    Also can't wait to finish my current wips and make this bat. It's absolutely adorable!
