  1. Paparazzi are allowed to be the most TRASH humans, pushing people to mental breakdowns but Chappel needs to do better?! Nah, it's not the 1990s anymore, we're not tolerating abuse. Thank youuu 😮‍💨

  2. Damn, you can never make people happy. If Tyla placed the award on the floor , I'm sure losers would be saying "she's so ungrateful, just throwing the award on the floor" .Black women can't win, literally or figuratively. Also, "Uppity African" sounds like a cool name for a clothing brand, Tyla if you're reading this trademark that name ASAP

  3. 5:14 as one of the few in your audience old enough to answer this question, in the early 2000s we did not have the amazing curly hair products that we have now. So if you want it any sort of texture in your hair at all you had to douse it in moose while it was wet and comb it through. And a lot of people did not scrunch it after it was dry so we had this wet crunchy hair "trend".
And now, obviously the 2000s / late '90s is coming back, so these old people my age are grasping at straws to relive their golden years lol

  4. A man screaming 'shut the fuck up' at a woman- wow, so original. I don't care the context, girl was absolutely right in telling him off. It's not simply answering rudeness with rudeness, it's protecting oneself's dignity when being confronted with degrading behavior by men.

  5. I think I sympathize so deeply with Chapel here because when you have a situation where abuse and harassment are considered the norm, and someone tries to speak out about that, they are very often demonized. It was like that in my family and it’s like that in the industry. I was ostracized for speaking out against the abuse in my family, and now I’m seeing people tear her down for speaking out against the abuse in the industry, so she’s got my support haha.

  6. I’m absolutely disgusted with the high praise of celebs – almost god like levels of fanatical worship then a celeb acts human & isn’t PC, and calls the weird culture of fans & now they want to take their celebrity status away.

When are people on social media going to realize how problematic & wicked they are ?

  7. I'm a Swiftie but sometimes it bothers me how the Swiftie fandom will just praise every single thing she does. Taylor's outfit was a miss. Obviously she looks great because she always does, but the actual outfit itself is not working. I don't like the yellow plaid at all. I love a lot of her red carpet looks, but sometimes her stylist completely baffles me. I always wonder if she actually likes what she's wearing or if she just wears it because her stylist picked it.

  8. Tyla definitely does give "uppity african" and that's NOT xenophobia. To state what many of us black Americans face at the hands of others in the diaspora is not xenophobia. It's a real phenomenon, I witness it all the time, as do many other black people.
