  1. Why is it so hard for Brett and others to articulate this point… Here:

When Jacob plays with a HeMan action figure, Jacob is pretending that Jacob is HeMan.

When Jessica plays with a Barbie, Jessica is pretending that Barbie is Jessica.

  2. I’m 45 and probably not in there demographic, but fun show. It’s a good perspective on pop culture. Mary is a breath of fresh air and a funny as hell. She shoots from the hip. Brett has a lot of knowledge, good vibes, and insight. I enjoy seeing there youthful vision and perspective.

  3. When it comes to Blac Chyna, the first I'd heard of her "transformation," if you will, it was solely about the surgeries. There was no mention of anything religious, and I was happy for her that she'd made the decision to remove all the fake stuff from her body because it's harmful, and I was glad she was being so transparent about it, even if I believe it could to a degree be an atempt to keep attention on herself, because even if it's an attempt to stay relevant, I do see the good in her honesty in warning young women about the dangers of fillers and sugically altering your body purly for cosmetic purposes.

As for whether or not the ends justifies the means when a celebrity "finds God" as a trend, the concern I have is that when a celeb who isn't authentic in their beliefs eventually gets exposed, it does damage in the eyes of the world to the credibility of Christianity as a whole. While, yes, there may be a number of people who may come to find an authentic faith in God as a result of a celebrity making it their new identity for clout or personal profit, there are sill more whom I fear will be lead into a false perception of what it truly means to follow Christ. Often, people (not just celebs) who "find God" are actually just finding a form of religion that is convenient and doesn't require a real inward change, cherry picking the parts about God and the Bible which sound nice to them and fit their own opinions.

So, as for Blac Chyna finding God and being baptized, I do hope and pray it is real! But just as with anyone who claims the name of Christ, their actions going forward will be the evidence of whether there is a truely regenerate heart, as Matthew 7:15-20 says: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.  You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?  So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.  A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.  Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  Thus you will recognize them by their fruits."

  4. Damn Brett sometimes I get it. You and me agree on a lot. Like we're bizarrely different dudes, but you definitely have an ability to discern this from that and recognize quality. Grats buddy.

  5. Should change the thumbnail game up a bit. Maybe make it the guest when you have one, the host, and co-host when you dont. Having it be about a topic you spend 5 mins talking about makes it look weak. Just my thought.

  6. Musk spent $44 Billion on Twitter. The World's population is 8 billion. He could have given each person $5 billion and still have money leftover. I feel like a cheque for $5 billion would be life changing for most people. Yet he wasted it all on Twitter. 😅
